Garden Juju Collective

Bridget O’Brien and Dr. Charlie Brennan are the directors of Gateway Farm and the owners of Garden Juju Collective. They have many years of experience of a wide range of projects, clients, places, challenges, opportunities and solutions. Charlie and Bridget also travel widely visiting, acknowledging and learning from, as many successful projects as they can. We are dedicated to finding ways to sustain, regenerate and heal places, communities and people. They specialize in creating ways to put aims, ideas, dreams, desires into action. To make it happen!

Garden Juju Collective offers a range of in-person and online workshops, presentations, services and packages. These draw together design, facilitation, social ecology, food justice permaculture, conservation, rewilding, sustainability, environmental education, ecopsychology and deep respect for Indigenous land and culture.

Plymouth Orchards

A woman-owned, family business since 1977, Mary Emmett established the orchard and developed it into a veritable touchstone for her community. While her vision for wholesome family entertainment and organic agriculture forms the foundation of Plymouth Orchards & Cider Mill, she is the first to admit it’s the dedicated, returning staff who make every visit a memorable experience. From cider pressing to donut-making, wagon rides to live entertainment, there is no better place to experience the best of a traditional autumn in Michigan.

In 2013, the orchard began a three-year transition period to become a certified organic working farm. Ensuring a safe, healthy future for all those around us is truly important to us. We also keep bees on the property to help with the pollination. We grow certified organic apples, blackberries, raspberries and asparagus. We recently added solar electric panels which will create up to 70% of the electricity that we need to operate the main cider mill building.
