Yoga in The Wild Fig

  • Gateway Farm 10540 Joy Road Plymouth, MI, 48170 United States (map)

This tranquil and magical setting offers the perfect addition of horticultural therapy with a restorative practice.

Join us at Gateway Farm for a rejuvenating yoga session in our unique event space, the Wild Fig Hoop House. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a curious beginner, our skilled instructor, Sarah Miller, RYT-200, will guide you through a series of poses designed to harmonize body and mind. Bring your mat, a water bottle, a warm layer, a blanket, and an open heart for an experience that connects you with nature and inner peace.

Slow vinyasa is a yoga practice that intentionally links breath and movement. You can expect to move slower, providing time and space for each yogi to master foundational postures. Slow vinyasa combines stretching and muscle activation, with the cultivation of mindfulness as you move intentionally through poses. Slow vinyasa also incorporates seated and even some restorative poses to help energize the body and strengthen the mind-body connection. Slow vinyasa provides clarity, releases tension, strengthens mind-body awareness, improves flexibility, and helps us find balance in everyday life.

Spaces are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot in advance! We look forward to seeing you there!
